(That exclamation mark feels awkwardly enthusiastic but I don’t know how else to start this so just go with it for now)
Shutterscrawls is a photography and writing blog, to help me fulfil the ‘creative’ element of the CAS (creative/active/service) work that I have to do as part of my International Baccalaureate course. The plan is that I’ll compile a list of photo prompts, take the photos (probably using my iPhone 5) and then write a piece of poetry, fiction, creative writing or non-fiction inspired by the photo. And that’s about it – I’m not going to specify what has to be what type of writing yet, I’ll see what evolves naturally and take it from there. Hopefully I’ll also occasionally post some kind of reflections on how my writing and photography is improving and my different strengths as well, as that’s also an integral part of CAS.
